Below you will find a summary of our complete process of printing your photo onto canvas- from when you contact us,
to when your print arrives at your place.
Proofing
Once we have received your photo, we will assess it, and email through
a proof for you to take a look at and approve.

Payment
Once your order is confirmed, we will email an invoice to
you with our payment details.
Logistically for us, it is easier if you pay on confirmation of your order. However
we do understand that some people are uncomfortable buying over the internet and
would like to pay after they receive their print(s).
We have no problem with this, however, we would appreciate if you could
pay within 7 days of receiving your print.

Colour
This is one of the most, if not the most important aspect of printing your
photographs. We have invested a lot of money and time in ensuring that our entire
workflow is colour managed.
This ensures that the colours that we see on our screen match the colours that come
out of the printer.

Printing
This is obviously the nuts and bolts of our business. Without the printers,
we clearly wouldn't be in business.
It is the specialised knowledge, the passion, and the obsession with quality that
enables us at Canvart to do the work that we do in the way that we do it.
We call
this the 'Canvart Way' and this is what sets us apart from the rest! Hopefully by
now, you have noticed our strong focus on quality. This includes the equipment, the
canvas, the other media and the ink that we use for printing.

Laminating
All of our canvas prints will receive a couple of coats of a protective laminate.
This is sprayed on with an HVLP gun and seals the canvas as well as providing a
protective coating.
Specifically, this will protect against UV Fading, scratching, water, and it also contains
anti-fungal components.
We see laminating as an essential component of the canvas printing process and therefore
there is no extra charge for this service.
Stretching
All of our prints are stretched over high quality kiln-dried NZ pine stretcher
bars. We can either Gallery Wrap your print, or wrap a plain border - whichever
you prefer!
We finish the print off with a saw tooth
hanger, so that it is ready to hang straight out of the box.

Packaging and Delivery
Over the years, we have used a few courier companies and we have
settled on one now that we believe is not only the most efficient, but also the
most reliable.
Many businesses these days discontinue their service when the product leaves
their premises. This is not the case with Canvart. We take full responsibility for
your print until you open it up and let us know how much you love it!
Your print is fully trackable until you receive it. If there are any problems,
we will sort them out for you. Read the story in our
testimonials page for an example.
We package your print so it is as well protected as possible while in transit. Firstly,
it is wrapped with acid free tissue paper, followed by bubble wrap, and we
then place it in a twin cushion corrugated box.
That is it!
